A round, thick pancake filled with sweet bean paste, baked to order. In Himeji it is simply called 'Gozasoro', after the local shop that made it famous. More about Imagawayaki →

How to find it and what to know

The stall sits between the ticket gates, next to the stairs to the platforms. It is inside the gates, so buy one before you exit or on your way back to the train.

  • Two fillings: 'aka' (red, chunky azuki bean paste) and 'shiro' (white bean paste).
  • You can buy just one piece.
  • Expect a line at busy times.
