What is Kinuta?
Yokan (sweet bean jelly) rolled in soft gyuhi and dusted with sugar, sliced like a roll. A classic from Kineya.
Kinuta is one Himeji shop's own sweet, not a general type of wagashi you will find all over Japan. It is made mainly from azuki bean yokan, gyuhi and sugar.
